Microsoft has finally heard the pleads of Age of Empires fans all around the globe and we have confirmation of a new release in the beloved saga. The only confirmation we have so far is that Relic Entertainment will be working on it (Ensemble Studios is long gone) and a trailer, which appears to appeal to the spirit of previous AoE releases. However, no details are out yet on the setting and civilizations of the game, nor any other details about the gameplay. Continue reading →
RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is the model we use to represent colors in computers, cell phones, cameras and the web. RGB color is everywhere and understanding its workings and limitations is a must for an exploration of digital color theory.
This brief article explains how digital devices use Red, Green and Blue to represent color, how color in general is identified and how a set of RGB values relates to the color we end up seeing on the display. Contrasting the text with the background color is a extremely simple task. Downloading a full-blown plugin is overkill in most cases. WordPress doesn't offer any option to test drive your changes before they go live. Being used to edit CSS files offline, the first thing that came into my mind was to replicate the WordPress site offline and then upload the files via FTP. However, I ended up doing my editing and testing online for several big reasons.

Styled numbers will only be visible in CSS3 browsers , but fallback is provided so that default unstyled numbers are displayed in old browsers.
